A day in the heart of India

Hello readers ,
I had a competitive exam recently in Delhi , so I packed up my essentials and travelled to the location . And this train journey was a much better experience than the past one . Although , it was a solo journey for me but it didn't seemed so during the travel . I was accompanied by quite some amazing people during my travel . One was Aniket Sir who was traveling from UP to attend his cousin's marriage in Delhi while the other one was a bit elderly for me but much more childish and interesting ! He was sitting one sit ahead of me so we interacted for a limited time and I forgot to ask his name . He was an ex- army personnel and was travelling to give physical examination for Delhi Police exam . He had quite an exceptional grasp at the Hindi language and grammar . In almost 1 hour he taught me the basic to intermediate levels of Hindi Grammar that I last studied in my 8 th standard so as to give me a rough idea of the Police Exam Hindi Language Questions . He also taught me the art of perfecting the time table we all make but never follow . His talks were humorous , interesting and motivating at the same time . Hope to meet him again . On the other hand , Aniket sir who was my senior and 4 years elder than me told me the experiences  of his college life in Delhi and his network marketing experience .Currently , he is handling his family's business and is going quite well . These both people were one of a kind . I exchanged my farewell to them at the Old Delhi station and travelled to my hotel .
Next day in the morning  , I gave my exam which went quite smooth . I was free now and my next train was scheduled at 4 PM in the evening . So , I decided to sightsee Delhi a bit . Even though , it was not my first time visiting Delhi but everytime I visit the heart of my country , I am astonished at the diversity and beauty in this place . The systematic mapwork and well defined architecture of this place has always caught the attention of my eyes . The street food is also a attraction in itself in Delhi . From Litti chokha to Bhelpuri , from Momos to Dahi Bhalla and even from Tandoor dishes to Pizza , you will find everything at the street vendor shops here . It is not less than a blessing for the food lovers .
The metro network , maybe an attraction in itself , adds to the beauty of this place . Whenever you travel in it , you feel some positive vibes , I don't know how but maybe travelling at super high speeds in metro brings those vibes out . I decided to sightsee Akshar Dham on the way back , but to my luck due to covid it was temporarily closed . So , I admired it from the metro station as it was the only option . But, it was satisfying in itself as well . The temple is so mighty and so widespread over an area of about several football pitches stitched together that its architecture is visible from several hundred metres away. I clicked some of its images so as to keep it in my memory until I visit that place properly and admire it once again to my heart's content .
This place is a pure beauty . After a treat to my eyes from its sightsee of about 20 minutes from a distance far away , I took the next metro and moved up to Connaught Palace .  I sat down at the benches there , took some rest and decided to go to Palika Bazaar . It was a different experience in itself . I went in for just 20-30 minutes and when I came back outside , I had 3 bags of clothing and empty pockets . The only funds left with me were in my E wallet . That place has the sellers with next level experience . It was like they gave me so wonderful options of clothings that I couldn't resist it and I ended up overspending my funds . I bargained for every tshirt and joggers I bought . I had never bargained to the level I did in Palika and when I think of it I feel quite fascinated at my abilities . It felt like for those 20-30 minutes , my mother's bargaining skills entered my body . It was like some newly emerged talent within me . Now it was late enough for me to hurry to the railway station and I decided to travel via metro again as I enjoy it a lot . But to my surprise the metro authorities were allowing only 5 people to go in after every 2 minutes so as to prevent overcrowding within the Rajeev Chowk station . So , I queued up along with other passengers and after nearly 30 mins I got the chance to board to my destination .
This was the scene when I joined the queue . This is just the 60 % part of that queue . While moving forward in this I saw an old man sitting under a tree and smoking his cigarette . He was away from the hustle bustle of the city and was accompanied by his pet street dogs who were also sitting in the tree shade beside him .When everyone was just running like machines , this man was at peace and enjoying the moment with maybe his best companions , his pets . This view was quite scenic too me and reconstructed my theories of enjoying every moment and to stop by so as to live the life like a human . I cherished this into my memory . I boarded my train on time and started my journey back to my home . I plugged in my earphones and started reading my book . After reading 10 pages , I dozed off and after 1 hour when I woke up from that Kumbhkaran sleep I felt miraculously active . I was once again accompanied by amazing seat partner . His name was Chetan Pant . He came to Delhi for the same exam I participated in . We discussed the exam level and the further selection details . He was from Pithoragarh and told me a lot about his village and invited me to his village .  His village is a beauty in itself with great snowfall in winter and calm weather during summer . I was in love with his village scenic views when he displayed me the landmarks of his village in his phone .I got a wonderful friend during my journey ! In future , I will surely visit his village so as to quench the thirst of my wanderlust and meet him . Soon , this journey came to an end and I gave a farewell to my new friend with a hope to meet him soon .

" Kabhi kabhi anjaan raaston mei kux aise anjaan mil jate hai jo zindagi bhar anjane mei hi yaad reh jaate hai "

This was one of a kind and my first solo trip as I would say . One of my best travelling experiences.

Thank you very much for reading .
