Heat Dome

Recently there was an unprecedented phenomenon that occurred in Western Pacific . A remote village of Canada which usually experienced maximum temperature of 24° C and minimum in negative degrees experienced a massive heatstroke that left behind disastrous effects . Many people died due to the unbearable heat , roads got cracked , the insulating material in wires melted and reports predict that thousands of marine animals too died due to that dreading heat . This wasn't enough that even a forest wildfire broke out the next day making the conditions even more unbearable . As the temperature never rose too such levels , most of the people never invested in facilities like ACs . So , when the condition worsened on that day , they had to take shelter in government warehouses with air conditioning and even some spent that day in their vehicles with ACs in full boom . Most of you might have been thinking , what's so much different than global warming and climate change in this case ?  

As the scientists explain , this was surely a condition brought up by climate change but surely worst than global warming itself . In the case of this Canadian village , a term popped out , Heat Dome . Some may relate it to the Iron Dome of Israel which blocks all the incoming missiles . But it is a bit different . It doesn't allow anything to go outside and from anything I particularly mean heat . Heat Dome is formed when high pressure hot air accumulates within a region and acts as a lid around that part . It doesn't let any heat to exit into the atmosphere and creates a microwave type situation . It is such a situation that even the one who like summer would start to despise this season . The temperature soars to the highest possible and affects badly .This was quite something that caught the eyes of everyone . Several environmentalists , scientists , actors and politicians came forward and once again started the old chit chat of past . Methods to counter global warming and climate change . Studies tell that the conditions have become so worse that individual contributions are no more capable to turn back this tide . Only the decisions from global leaders and each country's representative can make remarkable changes . The need of the era is to start carbon taxes so as to minimise the use of fossil fuels as much as possible . The main focus should be green energy . Also all the motorwork should be brought under green energy aka battery operated functionality . Afforestation , our most neglected partner , it is the most important weapon to counter the climate change . Countries may propose monetary benefits for planting more trees and more green areas should be preserved . The world countries may also propose a law like Bhutan that states about 60 % land cover in the country must comprise of forests . This would boost the forest cover and help us in the long race . Countries with heavy population burden should work on bringing policies that counter the increasing population as well as decrease the hefty burden on the following resources . Green startups that work on organic farming and organic lifestyle future should be promoted . The earth is in shatters , leaders need to wake up . If not now ,then never .
